Dear Bobon 1 and 2 Ward,

Kamusta mo? Dugay na kaayo ko wala nakagsend ug letter ba. Sobrang busy man gud sa Preparation Day. Pero happy kaayo ko to receive some news about sainyo. Kabalo ko na all things happen for a reason. Padayon lang mo sa pag bulig sa mga missionaries sa Ward, narealize ko didi nga importante talaga an bulig sa members para mas ma hasten pa yung work ni Jesus Christ diri sa kalibutan. Pasaylo kaayo sa akong waray. Diri na gud ak masyado listo. Charot

Magka zone diay kami yana ni Elder Galos. Zone Leader namo sya. Nag iistorya kami ngadi in waray pero awkward. Nagsasagol nala tanan pati tagalog. Haha

Adi paak diay sa akoang 3^rd area, Digos 3^rd Ward, Digos Stake. Ginparasungog ngani ak ngadi sa mga tawo and missionaries na LUMAD na daw ko diri kay sobrang dugay ko na sa Digos Zone (12 months), dili pako nababalhin. HAHA na attached na ko kaayo diri. Pero dream ko pud maassign sa Marbel. Makalearn ug Ilonggo and makateach sa mga tawo from different tribes. 

Happy kaayo ko na adto na sa mission and iba and gihapon sa mga nakadawat ug mission call. And sa mga nakauli na gihapon, Hi Aubrey and Glydel! HAHA

Hi sa mga young single adults dira, I hope na mangagserve na pud mo ug mission. You'll miss half of your life if you will not serve a full time mission. Maingon gud nako na na'change akong life and ang akoang perspective into something better dahil sa kining buluhaton. As I look back, I cannot imagine myself not serving as Sister Cornillez and help people come unto Him. Daghan jud mga experiences diria na ma'test jud tanan na ato mga attributes pero sa ing ana na way kita mag grow and maging better. The field is white already to harvest. There are many souls waiting for you in the field. Missionary work gives us a wide understanding of life and helps us witness great miracles that does not only happen in movies. It makes us whole. It makes other people's lives whole as well.

And now it came to pass that as Alma was journeying from the land of Gideon southward, away to the land of Manti, behold, to his astonishment, he met with the sons of Mosiah journeying towards the land of Zarahemla.

Now these sons of Mosiah were with Alma at the time the angel first appeared unto him; therefore Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.

But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God.

And they had been teaching the word of God for the space of fourteen years among the Lamanites, having had much success in bringing many to the knowledge of the truth; yea, by the power of their words many were brought before the altar of God, to call on his name and confess their sins before him.

And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy brethren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2019

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

In all aspects of the work, may it be for the area or to the people we are teaching, or to the missionaries in your stewardship or to the members, we must have charity. It should never fail. I testify that its hard in some circumstances, but remember, He will not require it from you in the very first place if you can't. I testify that we should coz we could and He knows that we can.

This week:

* Exchanges with Sister Atillo and Sister Delos Santos

*I enjoyed studying the Come Follow Me Manual. Really suits our time and is edifying.
*The people we are teaching who lives in a quite far distant part of our area were able to attend church this sunday. I'm so happy for them and proud for that particle of faith they've shown in making a great action.
*We were able to extend a Baptismal Invitation to Brother AJ Mercader, and he said YES!
* Sister Juanita Flores, a recent convert is now working out her family tree! Yey!

John 15:1-7

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch in me that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine and ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me, ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Doctrine and Covenants 14

A great and marvelous work is about to come forth unto the children of men.

Behold, I am God; give heed to my word, which is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow; therefore give heed unto my word.

Behold, the field is white already to harvest; therefore, whoso desireth to reap let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God.

Yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and reap, the same is called of God.

Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.

Seek to bring forth and establish my Zion. Keep my commandments in all things.

And, if yo keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.

And it shall come to pass, that if you shall ask the Father in my name, in faith believing, you shall receive the Holy Ghost, which giveth utterance, that you may stand as a witness of the things of which you shall both hear and see, and also that you may declare repentance unto this generation.

Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, who created the heavens and the earth, a light which cannot be hid in darkness;

Wherefore, I must bring forth the fulness of my gospel from the Gentiles unto the house of Israel.

And behold, thou art David (Sister Cornillez), and thou art called to assist; which thing if ye do, and are faithful, ye shall be blessed both spiritually and temporally, and great shall be your reward. Amen.

Had a late Preparation day coz its our mission tour last monday. I can't clearly remember what had happened last week but we received a referral. YEY!!!! that's a great thing for missionaries. 

August 19: Mission tour with Elder and Sister Schmutz and I was one of the four missionaries in the south, chosen to be interviewed by him. Blessed!

August 21: MLC with Elder and Sister Schmutz. Really edifying.

Last week: post anniversary celebration in the field. HAHA

And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? -Judges 6:14

And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up. -Doctrine and Covenants 84:88

For thus saith the Lord—I, the Lord, am merciful and gracious unto those who fear me, and delight to honor those who serve me in righteousness and in truth unto the end. - Doctrine and Covenants 76:5
